Sweepstakes Rules

These rules apply to every raffle and sweepstakes administered by GCEA Capital ("Sponsor") on the gcea.app platform. Each individual raffle's prize, entry period, and entry cost are listed on its raffle page.

1. No purchase necessary

A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.Each raffle offers a free method of entry ("AMOE" — Alternative Method of Entry). To enter for free, navigate to the raffle and click the "Free entry" link, then submit the on-site form with your full legal name, email, and mailing address. A free entry has the same odds of winning as a single paid entry. Limit: one (1) free entry per person per raffle.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
• Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of GCEA Capital and its affiliates are not eligible.
• Void where prohibited by law. You are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.
• You must have a verified GCEA account with an accurate mailing address. If we cannot deliver the prize, an alternate winner may be drawn.

3. Entry period

Each raffle's start and end times are displayed on its raffle page in your local time zone. Entries received outside the entry period are not eligible.

4. How entries and odds work

Each raffle has a cap of 25 entry "slots" per person. Each slot is filled with one unit of an accepted candy currency at the cost the Sponsor sets per raffle (typically 1 faction candy, 1 cosmic candy, 1 silver candy, or 1 golden candy per slot — the actual cost is shown on each raffle's entry form). You may mix currencies within the cap.

Every slot weighs 1 ticket in the drawing — currencies are interchangeable for the purposes of odds. A free AMOE entry also weighs 1, equal to a single paid slot. After the entry period closes the Sponsor conducts a random drawing using a cryptographically-strong random number generator, picking a winning slot proportional to its weight. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.

5. Winner notification & prize fulfilment

The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the drawing. The winner has 14 days to confirm acceptance and provide a current shipping address. If the winner does not respond or is found ineligible, an alternate winner will be drawn. Prizes are shipped at no cost to the winner. Most prizes are graded Pokémon TCG cards; the description and approximate retail value (ARV) are listed on each raffle page.

6. Taxes

Winners are responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes on prizes. For US winners receiving prizes valued at $600 or more, the Sponsor may issue a 1099-MISC form.

7. Publicity release

By accepting a prize, the winner grants the Sponsor permission to publicly announce their username and prize on the platform. The winner's mailing address and other personal information are not disclosed publicly.

8. General conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these rules, attempts to circumvent the entry mechanism, or appears fraudulent. The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel a raffle for cause; in that event, all entry costs (faction candies, cosmic, silver, golden) are refunded to entrants. The Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures or lost entries beyond its control.

9. Privacy

Information collected on the AMOE form (name, email, mailing address) is used solely to administer the sweepstakes and ship the prize if you win. We do not share this information with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
